What drove you to choose your inverter?

Jy verstaan nie Engels nie, so ek sal in jou taal praat.

Hi. need some help please. i have installed an 8kw Sunsynk inverter. 9 x 365w panels on 1 mppt. essential loads connected. geyser and pool pump connected to aux. i have 4 x 200ah gel batteries (not the best but will replace when they burn out). problem i have is that when the grid is down the aux port (ie geyser and pool pump) should not pull anything from the batteries. however, even tho i set the cut off for aux at 52V the Aux continues to suck and pulls the batteries flat very quickly. is there a problem in what i am doing to get this right. in theory the aux (non essential loads) should shut off when the grid is not available but its not doing that. - i use a CBI astute wifi timer for the geyser. We on 3 phase power and the geyser is connected to the circuit with the plugs and lights and the oven is connected on its own phase.

is it connected incorrectly to achieve what i want to achieve here?

Can you post a picture of your AUX settings screen?

I think the Sunksynk has a problem with the AUX, not sure if the latest firmware update fixed it though. @RonSwanson and @AchmatK can confirm

Thats your last resort before you delete the setup and start from scratch

Not again  Everything else works, Sonoff switches, Sonoff cameras, Paradox alarm, etc. it is just the Victron Modbus stuff where the sensors setup no longer exist when looking for them in Entities. There are so many of these damn DIY's to get it to work and none are the same and very few explain things for a HA and programming newb like me.

the small watts u see going to Aux is for my geyser timer that pulls a bit to stay alive. i did a test now again while solar is running - i had the geyser on and cut the eskom power. the solar was feeding but not enough and the geyser started pulling from the battery. i then used the wifi module to switch the geyser off while eskom was still off. at that point when i did that, the aux then switched off completely. but this should have happened when i initially switched off eskom

Voltage on the battery seems a bit on the High side there.
that is just for the cut off when aux is running. so dont want the aux (geyser and pool pump) to use the battery at all. i thot when eskom gets cut the aux stops working - but even if it doesnt it should draw from the battery below those settings

Aux load off is the voltage you need to increase if you want the aux to switch off and not run from batteries.

ok but typically the batteries when they on float around 54V. i set the aux to switch off when its 56.5V which means that it should switch off immediately when eskom is cut no?
am i supposed to connect the geyser to aux? and does aux cut off when eskom dies?

I think you should run it using %. So shut down should be 95% and turn on 100%

PS, your battery voltage is quite high.....

Its like running windows. You have to wipe it and start fresh every so often

Your batteries are at 57v so it won't switch off. The geyser can go on the aux.

last night when batteries were at 52v (i set to maintain at 52V at night), when i cut Eskom, the aux didnt switch off and geyser drained batteries even though setting was to switch off at 56.5v though
