Nokio wont allow them to remove programmes anymore, VOIP is ok but nothing useful will be removed.

You clearly haven't used the phone nor its features no differance you may want to have a look at the security certificate management 4 security files embeded you cannot turn them off then there is the device mgr for updates the server information has been removed so no updates for you, there is a huge difference.

Branding does not make me jump with joy but consider this:

If you get a Nokia in the UK (on Vodafone) it will not only be branded Vodafone it will also be Network Locked! In fact all networks in the UK with the exception of O2 (Cellnet as was) network lock their handsets. This contravenes an EU directive, but its only a directive OK! They must unlock them for free at the customers request... They do this free well apart from the £40 (+-R560) administration fee!

How to stop branding:

Walk into your cellular providor and say:

"I want a ******* and it must not be network branded" and if they say no, say OK I want a contract for a SIM only and I'll buy my own fully un-branded handset because your ones are poo!

OK so you'll have to pay up front for your handset instead of buying over two years at double the price but at least you can tell the network what to do with their branded handset!

Ye the certificate crap, I was supposed to try and fix that but I forgot!:p
Why do you need to edit or delete certificates?

The files wont allow for new theme downloads mpeg,mp3 files

Ye the theme thing, it depends on the sis file some work most dont... I download themes on my E61i the saved it on the mem card then popped the card in the N95 and they all worked.

Im not sure, but on the unbranded phones it installs, so as long as you have an unbranded Nokio that uses a micro SD like the E61i then it saves it on the card and when you pop the card in the N95 and go to themes they there and they work/apply...
