BBC is awesome but it seems they are closing that loophole and you will need a valid UK TV license to view online content?
I recall some Hulu stuff was free but now all behind a paywall, Comedycentral maybe still free?

I watched BBC a while ago with no issues - it did prompt me if I had a TV licence, I just said "yes" and proceeded. It all worked. You can watch Sky news live as well with a UK VPN

BBC now says "You'll soon need to sign in to watch", ie I'm assuming they'll require a registration with valid UK tv license.

I'm dreading when they enforce the license thing. BBC is just about all I watch.

So you'll need a valid UK license number, so if you know someone in the UK you can borrow/use their license number to get an account?
