Seven spears was hard but not that bad for me...you can cheese one of his lives by getting a backstab in. There's a shortcut to the left of him that allows you to use the face of the cliff and reach the house behind him. Other than that, I just kept my distance and deflect deflect deflect, until I got a Mikiri counter in and broke his posture, allowing me to finish him.

I did take a while and plenty tries though, **** ain't easy.
I did the backstab one then I did the ledge hang thing close to the steps. It took a while though to whittle down his health but fsck man, after numerous attempts I didn't care.

I believe this ties in well with the "Shinobi way" ie. win at whatever cost :p

Before I started AC Valhalla I saw this:

And went "ja whatever"....

Esp since you start on a small cove in Norway. Couple of days in England I started to change my mind. Went to Mapgienie just now to look for something.

Now I am all "Jip sounds about right"

Game is actually massive....

Is it still very repetitive ? I find with all the AC up to black flag (last time I played), besides for the story line, about 30% into the game everything after is just repeat repeat repeat.....

Its more like Black Flag/Origin/Odyssey than say AC 1-2/Unity/Syndicate. That said they don't have the sea battles of Odyssey and such, boats are just a means of transport in Valhalla. I find the side quests way more entertaining than previous ones.

Assassins Creed kinda lost the Creed and is more a period simulation ie:
Origin was a Ancient Egyptian Desert sim
Black flag was a Pirate sim
Valhalla is a Viking sim
All using the AC engine :D

I like it, I know some don't.

I think every open world Ubisoft game is repetitive when it comes to missions etc. That includes AC, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Wildlands etc. Haven't played Valhalla yet but I'm sure it's pretty much the same. Last AC I completed was Origins.

Personally I don't really mind the repitition because it's still varied enough for me with lots to do and a lot to explore.

Well all open world games are large maps filled with loads of repetitive content like bandit camps, relic hunts and "watch towers", Valhalla is no exception. The question is if there is enough variety in the camps/hidden chambers and what not to make it entertaining to repeat running into a cave and look for a chest. For me it is, guess for some its not.

If you just want a rail like experience, I am pretty sure you could do that esp if you buy helix and just get the resources/maps and be done with it, but I don't know why you would buy an open world game if you into single line boxed in experiences. Go watch a movie instead ;)

If you hated Horizon Zero Dawn/AC Origin/AC Odyssey/God of War(PS4) and say Far Cry 3-6, then don't get Valhalla.
If you only hated the ship battles in say Origin/Odyssey but liked the gameplay of above, then Valhalla is a must.

and, I'm off to go conquer Ireland...

So updated on FF 7 Remake - really enjoying it. The only thing that is getting somewhat annoying is the "Huh? Hmmph. Uh?" Noises that characters make all the time.
As for the port, I really don't have any of the issues others are describing online, maybe yall PCs are just ****. :/

Goddammit... Satisfactory is too addictive. 400hrs and not even close to finishing. Best game of 2021 for me and probably will be for 2022 when it's finally officially released. So good.
