Haha - cool. Reason I asked is Steam top review says finish base game before getting DLC - but that's one person's opinion. Says it can be a bit confusing with both as a beginner. I don't care - I'm usually confused, so nothing new... but if it makes the game deeper, with a stiffer learning curve - I'm all for that.
Edit:

Honestly wouldn't know since I haven't played the DLC yet, you could always go back to the main game's content if you find the DLC to be confusing or too difficult since it certainly isn't a "linear" game where you have to do things in a specific order.
But I just played the game like 2 weeks ago when they re-added it to gamepass and all I can say is that people who haven't played it yet are seriously missing out, which is why I recommend buying the bundle since you'll land up buying the DLC anyway if you finish the game because it's just so good.
I was very confused when I first started the game but as I found out more I started really getting into it, so don't worry if you have a similar experience because it's pretty normal from what I've heard.
I went into it completely blind and it made the experience so much better, I didn't even know the basic premise of the game when I started it (I guess thanks to gamepass I didn't need to think about anything before downloading it).
So yeah just go for it, don't worry about what others say about how to play it, the mystery and exploration is what makes the game one of the best I've ever played.
