I have this and love it.

I've seen that one yeah, a lot of people tell me to go 32inch - looking for a 27inch tho, I prefer a very sharp picture. Aiming for this

I had that before this one. Also a great monitor. The Dell is best I believe - built in speakers and height adjust. I don't find any difference in sharpness between my current 32" and the previous 27". Possibly if they were side-by-side it would be more obvious, but I can't tell a thing. All I know is in 1440 with HDR on it's a lovely thing.

The Dell is R7,999, but it's an IPS panel which is better. Also has pivot, swivel and height adjustment and a higher max brightness (400 vs 250).
Worth the extra if you can squeeze it.

Yeah, my brother has a 32inch, loves it - won't deny that it's a very nice monitor. He can't notice the lines, even when I point it out to him - so it's just really a personal preference - I need a very small pixel density. It's either between that and the Dell

but **** me, 8 G's it a lot of money to drop on a screen, the Asus I can probably get for about R6200

Yea it's definitely a fair chunk of change. I think the differences would warrant it, it's a better screen. Comes down to budget I suppose.

i'd definitely go for that 27" dell over the 32" LG.

better panel, better colors.
not sure any of them would give a good/decent HDR experience (making this assumption based on them all have "primitive" backlighting, and only up to 400nits peak).
for me at least, i'd also prefer the less eye movement on the 27" in high speed situations (I work on a 32" 4K, and it's amazing for that, but then I am only looking 1 half of the screen at a time)

Honestly, HDR is not at the top of my list of priorities - I'm just looking for sharpness and clarity

Oh man, I'm looking for a decent RPG.
I finished Metroid Dread recently. Absolutely beautiful game.

I was checking out AC Valhalla on Youtube. Not completely sold on it yet... but something along the lines of this is what I am looking for.

Are you on PC?

Horizon Zero Dawn is great. AC-like (pretty standard "western formula") but superior in execution IMO. I'm 45 hours in, near the end of the game. Contemplating if I am actually going to play Frozen Wilds (If I dont play it straight away, I am probably going to lose all my "muscle memory", and then it is going to be a slog later)

God of War for a more linear style "RPG" is also amazing (which honestly I want to see more "linear" games, sick of "open world")

My next purchase. How does it compare to 3 and 4?
Compares very well, I think. It doesn't exactly break the mould much, but that doesn't bother me at all. It delivers on the promise.
So you'll enjoy it if you're looking for the next entry in the series (with everything that entails).

Pathfinder kingmaker was good if a bit long, Wrath of the Righteous is supposedly one of the best.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the best I've played in recent years.
Wasteland 3 is on my list to play. I loved 2. It was what I hoped Fallout 3 would be.
Disco Elysium is also on my list, as is GameDec and Encased

If you want to go early access, look at Death Trash and War Tales.

Dying Light is rediculously good. Lots to do and to unlock. The parkour is great fun as well though the Parkour Fever challenges i've tried so far are impossible lol. Reminds me of those insanely hard challenges in Mirror's Edge.

Also, decapitating a zombie with one swing of the Heavy Rebar is so satisfying. Killing 2 with 1 swing even more so. Love this game.

Lots of outfits that I can only see in the main menu though. No idea if outfits have special bonuses or not.
