I have one more achievement left for Psychonauts 2 (Duck, Duck, Goose). Turns out it's a missible achievement and the only way to get it now would be to start again. Fortunately it's one that can be gotten fairly quickly if you skip cut scenes and just race through it

edit: there might be a machine in Otto's lab that will pit me against a panic attack.... hopefully it works
And done, 100% complete. Didn't take too long, more a nuisance than anything else

Are you on PC?

Horizon Zero Dawn is great. AC-like (pretty standard "western formula") but superior in execution IMO. I'm 45 hours in, near the end of the game. Contemplating if I am actually going to play Frozen Wilds (If I dont play it straight away, I am probably going to lose all my "muscle memory", and then it is going to be a slog later)

God of War for a more linear style "RPG" is also amazing (which honestly I want to see more "linear" games, sick of "open world")
Frozen Wilds is worth it. Give it a go. I enjoyed HZD immensely.

Oh man, I'm looking for a decent RPG.
I finished Metroid Dread recently. Absolutely beautiful game.

I was checking out AC Valhalla on Youtube. Not completely sold on it yet... but something along the lines of this is what I am looking for.

I preferred ac odysee, it's probably my favorite game in a long time and only started playing it this year.

Finished Ori & the Blind Forest on Switch then started up Will of the Wisps, but I'm finding that image quality took a pretty big hit with the added detail. It's not a great experience, mostly smooth but much grainier and occasionally locks for a few seconds.

Considering whether to get Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge seeing the excellent reviews. I used to love the SNES TMNT: Turtles in Time back in the day.

I don't have much time to play games lately, but I'm near the end of Link's Awakening. The OLED Switch is my first Nintendo console and the garbage graphics are still quite jarring to me. I knew it wasn't a powerhouse and had cartoony graphics in first-party titles, but damn, even then. Breath of the Wild makes my eyes bleed on a TV and the experience is so hard to get into.

I regret buying this thing pretty hard. The limited time I've spent on the top-rated games I eagerly bought (BotW, Link's Awakening, Mario Kart 8, Animal Crossing & Super Mario Odyssey) haven't been much fun at all. Link's Awakening has been okay but hardly a mountain of fun compared to almost any PC game I've played in recent years.

I guess these games just aren't my thing.

That's a real shame. It's amazing on PC.

It takes a bit more juice to play yeah. Constant 60fps is the only way to enjoy this game.

The combat has been amped up dramatically in Will of the Wisps.

Also:

I made it through the Spider, Ice chase and the foul presence controlling the frog. The frog dies :( He was my friend :crying:

Slowly Heading to the ending I believe but I need one more wisp thing.

Honestly like.. playing Switch games on emulator is kind of awesome. It's the way to roll now imo. Only thing is, I can't play emus in bed while watching TV in the background.

That's a real shame. It's amazing on PC.

Yeah I already beat them both on PC haha. I just picked them up again because they look amazing on the OLED Switch.

I'm wanting to start playing Diablo 2 Resurrected, and a quick look at You Tube seems to indicate the Hammerdin is the best character to go with. Any opposing thoughts?

From what I have seen it changes constantly as they are patching as they go and nerfing and boosting skills. Check youtubers like Mr Llama I think his name is as he constantly tests and rates the new top builds per patch. I think Physical builds are in again actually.

Biggest complaint with Dying Light is that the zombie AI can be pretty terrible.

I found a group of bandits with some zombies nearby so I used firecrackers to lure the zombies to the bandits. About 6 zombies moved over to the bandits but then half of them turned back when the firecrackers stopped even though at that point they were being attacked by the bandits. It's as if they didn't know the bandits were there.

Another time I saw one of those big zombies with one of those big concrete hammers right next to a group of bandits but he totally ignored them. I tried to use firecrackers again but he refused to move closer.

But then again they are zombies so I guess they're supposed to be stupid but then they always follow me when I get close. Racists! :p
