I should try one of the earlier AC games. I've always liked anything set during the age of sail, so maybe Black Flag would be a good start.
Black flag is more an Pirate simulator than Assassins Creed game.

You can call it Skull & Bones "The Prequel" ;)

AC3 has some sailing in it as well.... but so far I am avoiding it like the plague oh wait people don't avoid those...

Hopefully Skull & bones is worth the wait and not just a more "grimdark" Sea of Thieves.

BDO must have a ton of content

Started Liva A Live on Switch and it's really cool. The dialogue is legitimately funny and the battle system is great. Think I'm gonna dig into it.

Farthest Frontier

Overhyped Banished clone with a raid mechanic, only the developer of Banished, which is one guy, did a better job than the clowns that made this.

Game gives you no useful information you actually need and if the resources on the map is gone... it's gone.
Restart and start a new game.

Performance is dreadful. Get a decent size village and enjoy 10 fps. Restart and start a new game.

New game start and the starting tile is in a dry part of the map with no water and barely any trees with 5 wolf dens. Restart and start a new game

New game just loaded and during the 'free time' you get to choose where to place your town centre isn't paused and you lost half your starting villagers to wolves and you can't do anything about it, because you need to place the town centre before you get a UI - Jup. Start over.

For every 10 minutes of fun there is 20 minutes of pain

I would say avoid until it is out of early access, but currently it's R175 and I suspect it will cost double that amount in a few months.

Got myself CP2077 via gog for ±450 Zar. Now to give it the love it needs to enjoy it. At least it is not "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth" or "Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines" broken levels.

The part about finishing GTA V was so on the nose...

Skyrim too, I have it on PC, PS3, PS4 and last year bought it for Xbox Series S. Think I levelled to 25 and moved on to something else at the time. Its now installed on Series X and only went into it once to see it in 4K. :D

Meanwhile I've played and finished Skyrim and GTAV hundreds of times each :p

I always finish my games. Unless they suck. Still loads of games going back years I need to try though but so little time.

Same here. I finish most of the games I play. Except if they are really bad. Or too difficult.
