What game are you playing now? (Part 2)

10+ hours in here now and I am still kind of blown away by the quality of the production. It's obviously good fun too, but nothing incredible gameplay wise.

Not a chance I am going to pay full price for The Last of Us Remake, but I am definitely intrigued.

Can you jump in at 4 or do you miss out on story from 1-3?

To me, it seems pretty self-contained. I haven't thought: "who is this/what is going on here?"

I watched all the full playthroughs on youtube a while back before 4 was announced for pc. You're definitely gonna miss some story starting with 4 but nothing major.

Still hoping that they do the right thing and release the entire series for pc.

I mentioned I was going to play Returnal, but a little something called Rebel Galaxy caught my eye on the PS Extra list of games. Started playing it, and even though it is really unpolished, rather clunky and has graphics best left not spoken about, it somehow grabbed my attention and I finished it. Sort of like Elite, Privateer and Wing commander in a way. Storyline far more limited /non-existent.

But it's "2D" gameplay - think of battleships sailing around each other sending off broadsides.

Also playing Chess Ultra from the list

I quite enjoyed Rebel Galaxy back in the day. A nice, easy game to unwind with. If I'm not mistaken I fell asleep with the controller in my hand a couple of times.

Started on Far Cry 2...again. Hoping to get past the first 3 missions.

Halo (on the Windows 11 Xbox app) is giving sound issues yet again. Would mean an uninstall/reinstall and that's a pain waiting for the game to redownload.

I quite enjoyed Rebel Galaxy back in the day. A nice, easy game to unwind with. If I'm not mistaken I fell asleep with the controller in my hand a couple of times.

It is pretty easy and relaxing. Quite mindless, but quite enjoyable
