Started Max Payne again for the first time since the early 00s. Never played MP3 so want to get to that but first gonna play MP1+2 to refresh my memory.

Runs perfectly on my pc with the fixitall fix (bullet time doesn't work right without it) but there is a minor graphical glitch here and there. Nothing bad. Really cool playing this again. Still a great game.

I haven't played a game in a while, other than CSGO, but I got my Monkey Island horse armour today  and Spaceventure is dropping on the 16th (backers only). Two adventure games that I will play through sometime this month.

For those who play Project Cars, 1 and 2 will be removed from sale due to licensing reasons. It is sad, and it doesn't seem that EA is going to put the two titles on sale, though there is still some time left before removal. The only place where to get the games then are from grey-market stores. Though I own, or rather have a license to use, both games, I don't own the DLC, and the DLC is not cheap for someone who plays the game on the odd occasion.

This is what happens when your IP is acquired by EA. I don't think Codemasters have much say in this, neither the developers, Slightly Mad Studios. The game is becoming ever more arcade.

Just a notice for those who are interested in acquiring the game and or its DLC before being delisted. Project Cars 2 still has a thriving community, though not as many active players per day any more. I guess the focus is on Project Cars 3 and whatever comes next.

C&C Remastered - completed GDI, now playing NOD.

Oh boy... it just highlights how far gaming has come over the last 2 decades.
The bad:
Units are unresponsive - You say move, and it thinks a bit, rotates, then starts moving. There will be no micro here.
AI - If a unit can't attack without moving, you have to tell it to attack.
Pathfinding - Harvesters will sometimes play chicken on a bridge, and just wait for you to tell one of them to reverse.
Pacing - The game pace is SLOW. You need more than a harvester load to build one GDI tank. 2 harvester loads to build a new harvester. Much of the game is waiting for the next load to come in. Most modern games you can usually have something to do at all times. Here you spend lots of time waiting. On the plus side, you really care about not losing units on frivolous attacks.

The good:
I still think it's a huge leap forward over Dune 2 and Warcraft 1. I would also say that it's the better between it and Warcraft 2 which came after it, from what I remember.
Attacks can miss. Yes, it's a good thing. Your fast units can zip in between some enemy units and not get hit. If only the units were more responsive... I think smaller units also have a chance to be missed by attacks? Soldiers that go prone. It can be annoying, but also so useful.

It is also quite difficult. Definitely more difficult than AOE 4. There are some maps which I'm sure they expect you to save-scum. If you take the left route, your base will be destroyed. Take the longer right route, and you will have an easier time.
Or, if you harvest this patch here, NOD will build a hand and obelisk here, fking up your whole mission. Load, and change what you did to get past it.

I still find myself enjoying it though.

Sadly this the way for all car games...

Car model licences are not cheap nor endless. :(

70% through Marvel Spiderman on PC. Such a blast. Nice and easy. Also doing as many side missions as I can. The last patch helped performance loads

Gunfire Reborn.

Great fun playing this duo or with 4.
Pushing Reincarnation 5 difficulty and it's a blast.

Metal: Hellsinger launching on Thursday... Will be buying the hell out of that.

Ghost of Tsushima seems to have a lot of mechanics, but it probably feels less overwhelming the more you play. (Maybe this is “complicated” by Legends, which doesn’t really bleed into single player)

Beautiful looking game and has been fun so far.

I am hearing a lot of “Afrikaans” accents in the voice acting

It becomes really natural after a little bit. It feels way more intuitive than God of War, which I'm playing now.

I hope you're using the Japanese voice-over option. Gives it a proper cinematic feel.

I was just enjoying a bit of GTA V after struggling and waiting for the Epic Launcher thats always slow or broken if you don't use it often.

Then Eishkom said nah.
