Broke the addiction to AOE2: DE ranked. Was playing 2 or 3 hours a night.
Tried Apex again. First game 160 ping all good. Second game 230 ping lag fest. Alt F4.
Any FPS actually worth playing in SA? Battlefield dead?

Xcom Enemy Within. Never got round to this expansion.

5 troops each with over 75% chance on a single target. All miss?!!! F**k it, just gonna throw grenades now.
Thats xcom baby :)
Seriously though, its annoying. I still think EW was harder than Xcom 2 as in XCom 2 you have fare more mechanics to deal with battle situations and deal damage. EW you far more limitted options and if the RNG gods hate you its over. I gave up trying to play the hardest difficulty as I found just about any mission my soldiers would regularly miss 75%+ shots while flanking an enemy and yet every thin man could crit hit my troops that are in full cover somehow reliably.

Probably, and full of douches anyways.

Play BF3 on servers in Brazil or Europe; play BF4 servers in Europe. Put up with the ping latency and it's all good. Mine is under 180ms when I play it.

Enemy Within is the best of all the XCom's. There's no going back once you start chopping off your guys' legs and modding others into your own psi soldiers.

Does anybody play Escape from Tarkov and how is the latency for online?

I do. Latency is fine if you play on local servers. If you play EU, you get the usual 180-220.
Is it worth the premium price?
The dollar ratio does not look good now or is there a local vendor that sells keys.

No local vendor. I enjoy the game so for me it's worth it. You have to understand that it's nothing like COD, BF or any other shooter. There's a lot to learn and the skill curve is steep. If you're willing to stick with it and take the time to learn, there really is nothing like it. But if you want to jump in and pop noobs, it's not the game for you, you'll get rekt.

Understandable, I am looking for something else, so might look into this a bit further

Watch some videos by Glorious_E, Pestily, Deadlyslob or Willerz maybe.

If you do get it, watch Pestily's Raid series. It's a how-to for new players, very useful and informative.

I'd also suggest rolling with other players initially, makes it a lot easier to the hang of it. Add me if you want someone to jam with.

Level 22 so far this wipe so not that far in but I've been playing pretty regularly.

I mainly play on the EU servers and I don't really even notice the ping TBH, but just bear in mind that there is a ping restriction so you can't play on servers that have over 175ms in the launcher from my experience.

I don't really know how the game is on the ZA servers but I've heard there is less PVP, but I'm sure someone else who plays on them can comment on that.

In terms of gameplay I don't think any other game comes close at the moment, it's pretty unique and it's the only game that I keep coming back to. Just be aware that it will probably take several hundred hours before you understand the basics of the game.

The game is definitely quite pricey for us, I have a standard account which means that you have less stash space and a smaller container but you can upgrade those things if you grind really hard, but every wipe your progress gets reset and you have to do it again. Other than that there isn't much difference between editions.

Scav Junk boxes. But CSA rigs help in the beginning.
I got my first junk box a few days ago, I didn't realize that you can buy them from Therapist II already. But my main problem is that I keep hoarding good armors/rigs/guns and that's what is currently taking up most of my space.

I got myself an ammo box and mag case as well but I really need a weapons case for the good guns that I've looted from chads, I know I should rather be using them but I always say to myself "what's the point of going in with these guns just to be killed by some guy sitting on a mountain with a suppressed MDR".

Yea I know the feeling. We call it gear fear - fear of losing your gear. Rather just use the stuff, gives you a better chance of winning a fight. Also remember, the gun is far less important than the ammo in Tarkov. Best Gigachad gun with crappy bullets = you losing the fight.

Good way to save space is to get an Azimut and put suppressors in there and not on the gun itself, will save you some space. Can do the same with pistol grips to make your guns small.

Yeah that was the main reason why I didn't want to use them because I can't buy M61 or BP so it would be kind of a waste. I already took the pistol grips and mags off them but I really need to get rid of the rigs.

I think I just need to do some loot runs to get more money then I won't be so scared of losing gear.

Yep, scav loot runs are a great way to make money, you can average 150-300 per raid, depending how lucky you get. I usually go Factory because it's easier to find the dead bodies.

So, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is awesome. Really enjoying it. BLOODY frustrating, jeez. And I am playing on Normal level.
Played the one level 7x last night as I kept on dying. Pretty cool though!
That's a goody. Really enjoyed it. Have you played Break Point yet?

Personally, I'm currently on Horizon FW.
