What game are you playing now? (Part 2)

Started playing Horizon Forbidden West. Took Monday off and Tuesday is a public holiday so it's a nice long weekend of gaming.

I think Elden ring ruined me.
Tried lies of p, meh, having to block at the right time is off putting (so no sekiro as well I assume)
Tried dark souls remastered, feels like a watered down elden ring.
God of war, story seems fine, but I don't have that need to get back to it.
Haha I had the same after I played Elden Ring.

I had one race on that oval dirt track where I was the only one who finished.
Haven't had one like that yet.

Almost done with the career mode. Currently busy with the final World Masters. Still the most entertaining racing game imo.

New plan with Lies of P.
Installed this:

Increases the Perfect Guard window from 9.3 frames → 15 frames.
Also decreases the Perfect Guard "lock" duration from 30 frames → 21 frames.
And of course guts

Switched xbox controller form bluetooth to USB.
Then forced myself to redo the first stargazer's enemies a bunch of times to try and learn to block a bit.

I want to try another Soulslike but they're just not for me. Going to try Stellar Blade if it ever hits the PC.

Bloodstained. ugh I forget why I hate metroidvania's I hit like 10 dead ends and rage quit, combat was fun but the backtracking and the clunky map! Bleh, It'll be a long, long time before I try a Metroidvania again, next time I won't go in blind.

Trail Out, still having fun.

Little Nightmares 2, now this I like, this is great, halfway through the game and haven't had to use a walkthrough, just so well designed.

yep same

Finished my playthrough of all the Half-Life games... again. :D Going to try out Black Myth: Wukong. Getting around 70 FPS stable on the very high preset with DLSS on the benchmark.

Did you try Enotria?

It looks good but I'm not a major souls like genre fan but this looks like a game I can play.

I beat the quest in Animal Well then it seems like the game opens up a lot more. It’s a very cool game, highly recommended. But today something new dropped

Dale & Dawson Stationery Supplies has been good fun

Not for the easily offended

Probably a dumb question...but how is it?

I plan to finish The Plucky Squire tomorrow so I am ready for it on Thursday

Well, the game is almost totally open within a few hours and you can go practically anywhere and you have access to a large selection of echoes and at least 3 heart pieces in the first few hours of playing. So it feels a bit overwhelming to me, at least in the early game, and I'm curious if they'll manage to balance it out somehow.

The emergent gameplay is a blast though, especially with combat where you really have to think about how to approach situations when you can't swing a sword.

Have you played elden ring?
I'm about 3 hours in lies of p, going better now.
I heard Lies of P is more fair than Fromsoft games, eh looks okay, maybe later. Want to play Elden Ring but some of those Boss fights look very painfull. I think I will just enjoy the first 10 hours to take in the amosphere and then quit before the going gets tough, someday.

Madmax, weird how simillar this is to Days Gone, it could be a sequel lol. Like both, fun but it does have a slow burn start and does get a bit ubisofty.

Shadow of the Ninja Reborn, fun but a bit too harsh at the end. The male ninja is also much better than the female ninja for some reason?

Doom 2016, It's taken me almost two years to beat it, only play once a month every now and then for an hour.
