Very unpopular opinion, I did not own a Xbox back in the day and I still do not own a Xbox. But I tried out Halo Infinite since so many people always talk about it, and I came to the conclusion for me that it is extremely boring and bit lackluster.

TTK is super low, literally shoot entire magazine at someone then you still need to melee them to kill them, movements is stiff, assault rifles or any other gun is bad except pistols that is actually good.

But I am guessing this is every Halo person wet dream to play.
I enjoy competitive shooters in general. Been playing CoD, BF, Halo, The Division etc. for a while now.

They each require different play styles. Haven't played Halo for a few years, but coming back to it after a lot of CoD and BF takes some getting used to.

The TTK is quite high, similar to The Division. The argument for these types of shooters is that it requires you to focus more on movement and strategy, and kills have to be earned. You also have to try and get the good guns.

If someone starts shooting you, you have a chance to turn it around if you're skilled enough with movement - jumping, sliding and strafing while shooting. You even have a chance at 2v1.

Whereas with CoD and BF, it's usually a case of whoever sees the other guy first wins. Let alone trying to take on more than one guy...

Battlefield 2042 is Causing Xbox Console Crashes

Dozens of players are reporting that the early access version of Battlefield 2042 is crashing their Xbox Series X consoles.

Although not officially released yet, EA DICE’s Battlefield 2042 has already created a ton of criticism over its playability. The next installment in the Battlefield franchise officially releases on November 19th, but early access is granted to players who have preordered the gold or ultimate Editions of Battlefield 2042. Those subscribed with EA Play, which is included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can also access Battlefield 2042 early.

Although Battlefield 2042 is available to early access players, those on Xbox Series X should probably wait a while, as dozens of players are reporting the title crashes the Xbox console and shuts it off completely. The news isn’t entirely surprising, as Battlefield 2042’s beta was full of issues, and it was reported Battlefield 2042 won’t be able to fix the frame rate issues in time for launch.

On EA’s support forum where there are over 300 replies, early access players are sharing their frustration over the consistent crashes experienced playing Battlefield 2042. The crashes shut down the entire console and appear to occur at random, happening a few minutes into the match or at the end. EA has responded, attempting to troubleshoot some of the issues. After 200 replies, EA updated the thread stating it is aware of the issue and an “optional” update will be made available to all Xbox Series X players on November 17th, two days before the official release.

I've owned a couple of XBox consoles by now and love them. But Halo... I just don't get. Personally I think the game is completely overrated. But then I'm a single player gamer.

It is overrated. Could never get into the campaign, and still can't. The MP is good though...

I find the lore is fascinating but then it is a Bungie creation and they did a same in Destiny. Looove the story hated the grind.

I find motion controls are helpful for aiming and shooting with a thumbstick. It's not as fast and pin-sharp as a mouse of course but it also feels great to aim directly at the screen.
I wouldn't know, never tried motion controls and probably never will. Sounds much easier than a gamepad though when it comes to shooters.

My way to pick where to play =
Controller: Hack & Slash like RPGs/Twin stick or Isometric games/3rd person adventure/Racing & Sports
Key + Mouse: FPS/RTS/Turn Based RPGs
Yeah for sure hack & slash type games work best with a controller. Games like Final Fantasy or DMC were almost impossible for me with a keyboard.

As for racing, I usually still prefer keyboard but I use a controller for kart racers etc.

I could never comfortably manage WASD for some reason. End up using two fingers which obviously limits response time.

Destiny, Borderlands etc all comfortably played on PS with a controller.

KBM lack analogue steering and acceleration so its ok for arcade racing like Froza Horizon but I wanna see you KBM WRC esp in the latter stages. Steering wheel is preferred but controller can work 2.

Nice, good to know. Definitely making use of our local Azure data center then. Same with the new enhanced update for Quake, just a pity nobody locally plays it really. Oh well, lots of other games to play, think Quake is just a bit too niche and perhaps a bit old to draw players in our country any more.

I wish they would just add some sort of region select or latency limit, I get a couple of local 5ms games and then I get nothing but 240ms and 340ms.
