What game are you playing now? (Part 2)

Did the Koroks as well. Seeing the Shrines in orange again, having to travel without the benefit of fast travel has gotten me excited to explore Hyrule again. Mastermode definitely makes you have to think and evade more. Seeing a Guardian on the Plateau was a shock and the Bokoblins really are tough when you have tree branch.

Think I got to around 98% game completed and could never figure out what was missing. I'm trying to get the Korok mask early as I only got the DLC after I had already gotten the last Korok seed.

Aah.... I sometimes wish I had selective amnesia and was starting the game again from scratch!

The 1st two series of rooms were quite simple. The last series of rooms was an absolute nightmare. Can't say I am keen to do that over again.

Ja, that was the one session that was pretty hectic. I sat on the last series of rooms for the best part of 6 hours but eventually got it.

Was going to start Age of Empires IV before the holidays but with Thursday being a public holiday I may as well start with my holiday game, Sekiro.

So Bethesda just dropped a 25mb 'patch' for Skyrim and now al mods are fooked again.

Bethesda really has turned into one of the crapiest gaming companies there is.

I haven't even checked yet.

When I tried to log in last night Xbox showed me the middle finger with a 17 gig update so I switched to PS5 and played a bit of Broforce

Only Mods I use is 3 x Enhanced texture packs and the Real water and Realistic Light mods. Hope they still work

Depends how you launch the game.
I use SKSE so basically after the patch SKSE gives a version error and cannot launch.
This forces all SKSE users to now wait for the SKSE guys to update their exe and hope that all the mods we spent hours to install and get working properly still work after they do.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla got it on special on Black Friday. I'm a sucker for the series having played all the previous ones. This one is pretty good so far.

Elite Dangerous Odyssey - still grinding away at Elite combat rank.

Started AC Origins on PS4. The last AC game I played was Rogue so the change in control scheme is taking a little getting used to. Don't mind the rpg stuff.

Loved the game but Syndicate, Unity and ACII are all much better imo. It's the last one I played ao far.

Prefer Black flag, Origin & Odyssey over the rest. Origin being my no 1. Will check out Valhalla over the holiday. Obviously starting with the new Odyssey crossover DLC, before Valhalla.

Hated Black Flag. One of my least favourites. Started Odyssey but didn't get far before getting tired of the series again. Will play it and Valhalla eventually.

I prefer the the older city/rooftop/parkour games rather than the vast open world ones like Origins.

As soon as they introduced ships, they ruined AC for me.

It became more about pirate crap and less about reliving ancient history. The ancient history thing is what drew me to the series. Not kark about native Americans or Vikings or pirates. The only one I might go back to is Origins because of this...

Of course it did

Maybe I should rephrase, it's not my type of history. I like Roman and Egyptian history, as well as shortly after like the Crusades. Which is probably why the first two games appealed to me more.

I don't like pirates, native American, wild west or stuff that's just popular for Americans. But apart from that, making the games too big actually did an injustice to their stories...
