Today I'm playing "Troll in the box".

The way it works is that you use a small box like a shoebox, cut a small circular hole on one end, and stick your dick inside the other end. You then go up to a woman and ask her to feel around inside for a valuable diamond ring that's stuck in the box.

37 hours into AC: Origins.

Not sure how far I am, just finished Memphis region - going by the map I would say I have opened about 40%, maybe less, so this is easily going to be 60+ hours.

Purchased AC Odyssey too, as it’s on sale - probably impulsive, but I do like the way Ubisoft builds these games (Immortals Fenyx Rising was possibly my first experience with this engine), but will probably only give it a go in a few months, pretty sure I will have AC burnout/fatigue at the end of Origins

You now exactly where I was a year ago :D

Started Origin in December 2020. I did play some other AC games during the year and now on Valhalla, and yea I normally mixed in games before I started with next AC instalment in order to prevent burnout.

Also I tend to focus more on the side quests/stories than the main as I love exploration more than "Go to Y and kill Templar X"

Yeah, the main story is really just a tool to unlock the next area :)

They do the side quests really well, excellent writing all round. Makes XP farming really rewarding.

Fantastic looking game too

Tried Hollow Knight for the 3rd time, and...I still don't get the hype around this game. The combat is bland, the level layouts suck, the movement feels weird, almost like I'm 200ms behind all the time. One of the few platformers where my hands hurt after a while of playing on the controller. Meh

Thought I would have given up by now...but 31hrs later and still going on Hollow Knight, some things are still incredibly frustrating but I do find myself enjoying it quite a bit now.

I also figured out the movement and 'feel' of the game is drastically improved once I plugged in the controller, seems like on the PS versions there is considerable input lag when playing wireless. I must say, the fact that this game was developed by a team of only 3 people is pretty darn amazing.

After 2 days running around on that little Japanizes island known as Tsushima I am leaving it for a while. I will def revisit... but a larger island is calling my name.... one lately known as England ala Assassins Creed Valhalla.

You need some skill to play the game :)

Nice, just discovered the casino in DQ11. Many prizes so gonna have to spend a lot of time gambling lol.

Sadly there's only poker and slot machines but it's still pretty addictive.

Wish more games had casinos. Last game I played with a working casino was GTA SA.

Sekiro is too difficult for me. I don't have the reflexes for it anymore. I thought Nioh was hard but I completed that. Lady Butterfly took me a while but man Ashina Seven Spears is where I cross the line. I love the Dark Souls games but this is definitely something else entirely.

Now I'm playing:
Age of Empires IV - PC
Halo Infinite - XBox

Get gud!

But seriously, stick with it. Sekiro combat is like a rhythmic dance, once you tuned in it becomes more enjoyable and slightly easier.

Tbh I cheesed that Seven Spears mutha! He is a pain in the ass!

Haha nah thanks, I'm supposed to be relaxing while on leave.

Seven spears was hard but not that bad for me...you can cheese one of his lives by getting a backstab in. There's a shortcut to the left of him that allows you to use the face of the cliff and reach the house behind him. Other than that, I just kept my distance and deflect deflect deflect, until I got a Mikiri counter in and broke his posture, allowing me to finish him.

I did take a while and plenty tries though, **** ain't easy.
