I thought the Bushman requirement was survive 10 stages in the arena. So I struggled away and managed them, only to see the level progression metre not move up very much at all. I then checked the weapon screen and saw you need to achieve level 10, and immediately lost all interest in ever owning the Bushman. It's a pity, because I loved that weapon in FC3.

So I'm a couple hours into pillars of eternity and totally loving it.

Better than dragon age. To me. More focus on actual story, and less focus on useless crap.

Yes, true that.

The overall quality of weaponry in FC4 is good imo, but the combination of mobility and fire rate seem to dip a bit at an advanced stage on two handed rifles.

Pity about that.

I found that after a certain point I started limiting myself to only the crossbow and recurve bow to provide more of a challenge.

The SA-50 rifle is god mode.

I need an alternative to command and conquer. Any good alternatives out there? I prefer a few generations back - from Tiberian Sun to Generals / RA2 are my favs.

Easier than c&c, have you tried World in Conflict?

Finished my 2nd playthrough off Alien Isolation this morning, this time on the hard difficulty.

Now that looks awesome! I like the idea of real world equipment and missions too. I see its a huge franchise and has an mmorpg version too. Ta for that tip!

At the end when you get to choose to either shoot or dine with Pagan Min don't just shoot him without a moment's hesitation like me and have dinner with him. Apparently he'll take you on a helicopter ride and you get to shoot him later

My game time is a 42 hours, I think my 1st playthrough took me 23 hours.

Ubersampling on and off its still playable on my rig.
I5 4590
8gb ram
R9 280x
Everything maxed/enabled except texture size is on medium. Some of the best graphics even though its a few years old already..

Just been playing it a bit and with ubersampling on (rest of the settings maxed) I get fps ratings in the mid to upper 30s which is playable but not great, uber off fps jumps to 80-100+ so I just enable vsync so it sticks at 60.

Interesting game, I can see myself playing it some more, bit of a learning curve initially.
