At first I hated Far Cry 1, thought it was overrated and was just about to shelve it but carried on, this comes right after I played HL2 which is difficult for any game to live up to.

Go back people. Don't bash the new games that much. Some of the ones mentioned are not that bad imo. Let's see:

Worms 3D
Heroes of M&M 4 - failed compared to 2 and 3
Dungeon Siege - the new Oxford dictionary defines boredom as "Dungeon Siege"
Hellgate London - my new game on this list of shame - total crap

Not that bad games, but shelved since it follows the horrible trend of released but unfinished games:
