What game have you bought and after playing it, realised you have wasted your money?

Bet on Soldier, the original. Picked it up at Makro on a sale long ago, before I knew better, but boy does it suck. Terrible graphics, terrible play dynamics, and the worst voice acting ever.

Crysis Warhead. Love the game, but texture quality reduced a bit from Crysis, and way way too short.

Star Wars Kotor. Seems interesting, but runs badly on my rig for some reason, and appears to be buggy. Haven't tried again recently.

Of the few games that I have bought, I'd have to say:
Hellgate London (I was expecting it to be more wow-like :/ silly me)
Spore (I was expecting to play this through more than once)

XD

Assassins Creed didn't get good rates on here either... Was it really that bad?
I almost upgraded my PC for that... (And starcraft 2)

Yes, Assassins Creed really was that bad. So repetitive...

I reckon the worst game I have ever bought was Just Cause. R300 for an hour of gameplay. I still have nightmares about this useless game.

Fable 1 and 2 are awesome games ! did it ever occur that u might just a bad gamer naturally

Jip... I enjoyed fable. Wasn't really a hardcore game that needs all your braincells... but it was fun. If i wanted to play something that requires more brain power... I'd play dota.

Haven't played 2, 1 was still a terrible game, and it's very easy not difficult at all, just crappy level design, graphics, gameplay, character design, story and it's too short. I def had better.

I would rather floss my teeth with ass hair than touch that game again, terrible.

Fable 2 does look a little bit better though but I def wouldn't pay full price for it though.

fable 2 got a good review from Edge Mag. That's usually a good indicator for my taste. There's something about Peter Molyneux that gets my bum hairs crawling though - he always overhypes his own games and then they turn out to be conceptually great but with zero gameplay.
