What game have you bought and after playing it, realised you have wasted your money?

That would be 2 of my most recent purchases. Spore and Fable 2.

Spore just felt too dumbed down from what it was promised to be, it feels all new for the first hour or so, and then it becomes monotonous. That and the Securom DRM protection really ruined the purchase for me.

I am one of the few people that enjoyed Fable1. Fable 2 on the other hand has great graphics, sound, mediocre repetitive gameplay, a storyline that could have been thought up by a 5 year old, a few bugs/glitches and one of the worst endings in game history. I think that this article highlights many of the reason that I did not enjoy the game. Of course I don't agree with every point there, but I do agree with a majority of them.

fable 2 got a good review from Edge Mag. That's usually a good indicator for my taste. There's something about Peter Molyneux that gets my bum hairs crawling though - he always overhypes his own games and then they turn out to be conceptually great but with zero gameplay.

Hit the nail on the head.

Another game that was rubbish was ArmA.. One the my most anticipated games ever.

Codename Panzers was poo as well

Gees dude just by looking at the title of that game I knew it was gonna be a suckfest.

It was originally a nes game from way back then, just had two scenes, an underwater scene and a top down ocean scene.

Well least I bought it on budget (still traded it at CC, so it wasn't so bad) some ppl online were saying it was good, and other ppl said it was crap, I had to try it for myself, crap.

I really liked Ecco the Dolphin on the megadrive so I thought it wouldn't be so bad.

Fifa 08 - Dosnt work, get a black screen on starting it. Even tried formatting, still nothing. Plus my pc it well within its recommended requirements.
