Word. When Paul Walker died there was a "news" thread about it. Everyone was crying their eyes out and when I pointed out that if he was driving and crashed then he maybe was a twat, I got cautioned by her as people were grieving. Grieving for Paul Walker. Lol.

In any case, that would have been fine if it were an RIP Paul Walker We Miss You thread, but it wasn't. It was a news thread.

I heard last night that legal notices had been served due to some guy ratting out the owners not just on social media, but also dropping full contact details of owners and some users (including links to members on MyBB to Multichoice/Naspers) which then led to serving of legal notices and forcing the site to shut down. I just heard this morning that 205's are being prepared against ISPs as well and by the sounds of NH data was already handed over by someone (not sure if NH admins or a 3rd party) without a 205.

If anyone could possibly "find" a link to the actual legal notice as I have read conflicting reports (one that the shutdown occured via ISPA and the ISP and another that it was voluntarily due to legal pressure). Although I have not paid much attention to it, it also seems that their SSL cert was revoked which in itself is bizarre if true.

Hi Guys, just a suggestion.
Few years back some of the guys on BF started a gaming website RIG (www.rigaming.co.za).
It is open for registrations.
The site has now pretty much died out, but it still has a fully functional forum and chat section.
Maybe we can try and regroup the community there.

I'm sure many of us are a part of many forums and for long periods of time. But NH had this magic feel to it. It's like every day you knew there was something nice to look forward to.

I assume they'll be going after the owners and uploaders If the boys set up a legal fund I'd be happy to donate.
