What happened with Internet Starter Pack?

With FreeMe coming up I see two important changes on http://onnet.8ta.com Web site.

1. I cannot load GoBig (Telkom-only) bundles
2. I cannot load a new Internet Starter Pack

My Internet Starter Pack R49 for 2.4GB (200MB x 12) has expired last month. Is anything similar on the offer?

I would consider one of above options, but nothing above anymore!

You are able to purchase the Internet Starter Pack bundle by dialing *180# and selecting option 1 Bundle Purchases, then Option 2 Data Bundle, then option 4 Internet Starter Pack bundle and then the options of the various bundles are displayed. Hope this helps you.

Option 4: Internet Starter Pack is not longer here!

Edit: A reason I cannot purchase is because I have changed tariff to "SIM Sonke". While on "Telkom More" tariff, I can purchase Internet Starter Pack from Web site and from USSD. Thanks for helping.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but can this be jimmied? Can one be on Telkom More, buy the Internet Starter Pack bundle and then move over to Sim Sonke? When the time comes to buy again, can you back to Telkom More and rinse repeat?

I did already change to SIM Sonke on the fresh starter pack SIM (it is why having problem now), so answer is yes. Now I see I can change back to TMore, it should be no problem, there is an option on the list, will do it end of the month, I will tell you when done.

Yup, that's what I did. Switch to Telkom More to buy another Internet Starter Pack then switch back to SIM SONKE. Did it a few months ago after the first year of the Internet Starter Pack expired.

The only concern I had was if I could do the SIM SONKE -> Telkom More -> SIM SONKE switches right one after the other as there is a limit on how frequently these tariff changes can occur. The website says "If you are a SIM-SONKE Prepaid customer you can migrate to Telkom More once per calendar month". When I did it I didn't seem to have any problems doing the switch, so maybe in the same month one can switch once to Telkom More and then once to SIM SONKE and that is considered fine.

Dude the GoBig package EOL was last year and was replaced with this package for contract users http://www.telkom.co.za/today/unlimited-broadband/ , have you considered using Telkom Mobile FreeMe instead.
