What if I'm okay making someone pregnant?

 you must have very expensive kids!! R1500pm is more the norm. If you are spending R1500 a week, you have spoilt brats....

How so?
School R1900 a month. Medical Aid R500 a month.
R2400 already, or R600 a week - and they still have no clothes or food.
Never mind visits to the doctor, shots, outings, etc.

Then, unless you are willing to leave them in aftercare until 5:30pm, you will need someone to look after them at home. R1500 minimum for that in a month.
So we are up to R1000 a week so far - and they STILL have not eaten or been clothed.

EDIT: and babies need nappies, and formula is at least R100 a week. Closer to R150 - and that is CHEAP formula. Never mind that hypo-allegenic stuff at closer to R450 a week.

If giving your kids a good education, reasonable medical aid, and food is "spoiling them", then I am guilty.

sounds like private school. and I bet you you would be able to quit your day job if you just stayed home with them. Home school. Save yourself R4k + a month

+1 with inflation prices will go up more.

When I was a baby my parents couldn't barely afford to maintain me.
They needed to ask my grand parents for support.
