Many channels stream at 1080 only. On my 10mb line they struggle. On a buddy's 50mb line they fly.
On STREAMIPTV you will find channels for a 4mb line up to 50 mb line.
The slower lines try the 25/30 fps. And depending on your setup 50/60 fps.

See below.
Sky sport F1 740x576 25fps
Sky sport Cricket 704 x576 25fps
Sky sport Golf 544 x 576 25 fps
BT sport 1 1024 x 720 25 fps
Eurosport 1 1024 x 720 25 fps
Willow CricketHD 1440 x 1080 30 fps at least 10 mb line
Bbc 1 1024 x 738 25 fps
Sky sport FHD F1 1920 x 1080 25 fps May be 10 but preferable 20 mb line
BT sport 1 FHD 1920 x 1090 50 fps 20/50 mb line

I used streamIPTV this weekend and damn impressed with it, 1 million times better then dstv and it's not delayed like DSTV. Working on a 10mbps fiber with FHD F1 I was watching this afternoon
