I may just upgrade today. What would a good cash price be for an iPhone 6s 128GB?

Amazon's discounted price is $920 which works out to R13,200. That would be a US warranty too.

Would R13,000 for local stock be good for me?

Start at R13,000 and see if you get any bites, realistically R12,000 is a good offer.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 64gb 6s with Cell c. R499 over 24 months makes a lot of sense to me. EPIC150.

The Cell c sim gets dumped into my iPad mini and the R150 value one gets with the EPIC150 get's used on the odd occasion when the iPad is out of range of wifi or being used on the road (Waze).

I paid R13,000. Asking price was R13,500. I think it's a good price considering the U.S. price (and our local prices). It's also silver which is relatively scarce at the moment.

I'll really miss my 5s and the one handed use bliss.

I'll be able to sell my 5s 64GB for R5,500. Only R1,500 depreciation in a year.

Might need the space. And resale value/desirability.

16GB free on my 5s. 12MP photos and 240fps slo-mo will begin taking up more space than 8MP and 120fps.

Yeah, being the most popular premium smartphone by a long shot must mean they suck.

Interesting too how each new iPhone generally breaks previous sales records. Must be all the converts. And I guess people are also happy to spend on what they use every day.

Also, what about depreciation when it comes to resale? 25 - 30% on iPhones vs 50%+ on others...
