Hey, I need to update my moneybookers account. I want to link my South African account at absa with them, but they want a swift code. What is that, and where will I get it now?

Its a unique code to each bank branch, as far as I know. And I think you can only get it by calling the bank?

Found this on absa, but not what that code is.
Abbreviation for Society for Worldwide Inter-bank Financial Telecommunication, a world-renowned messaging network

I speak under correction, but I think that ABSA's swift code is ABSAZAJJ.

EDIT: Yep, it seems that's the code. Have a look at the Google search results found via http://tr.im/swift

I once wondered what a swift code is since a company provided it along with account details for EFT. I asked them and they said it's for people from other countries to transfer money.
