What is the best car you have ever owned?

My Alfa Romeo 147 GTA. Tons of power and such an awesome drive. Stunning looking car as well. Surprisingly not as expensive to maintain as everyone would have you believe.

The worst car I've ever driven is the VW Tiguan that replaced it. Absolute junk. I hate it.

Tiguan 1.4 TSI maybe? LOL

Volvo XC60 D4 SUV - comfortable, reliable, tough, well appointed. An absolute pleasure to drive.

Two cars come to mind.

My Toyota Avante 1.6 twincam, drove it from 1990 to 1994. It had good power as well as fuel consumption and did not have any problems.

My current vehicle is a 2017 VW Polo Classic TDI, very comfortable and also, in this day and age, with anything between 24 - 27km/L of fuel used, I really cannot complain. It also looks really good!

What is the best car you have ever owned? What did you like about it?
The most reliable, cost effective car I ever owned was a mazda 323 sedan. The car i loved the most was 1.5 Suzuki swift. It was small quick and nippy.

My current GOLF 7R which is 5 years old next month. It has a combination of comfort, engine power, design, brand notice, quality, resale value and good options for warranty and maintenance plan upgrades.

My 2008 Jetta 1.9 tdi, I am still driving it every day as a work vehicle, I have had many other cars BMW x2 petrol and diesel, both 3 series and this year I bought a 2019 full specced Mercedes A series which I must say is rubbing off on me but the old Jetta what a car!

2010 Hyundai i20 .. even though I totaled it, it's safety systems let me walk out of that basically unscathed. (Still think it was sabotage though, losing control 10 minutes after picking up the car from a routine service that involved steering column adjustments)

All I can tell it was not one of the overengineered EU ones, they made me walk relatively fast, one old one(1998) as a backup still going strong.

Strange enough, my EU car also made me walk a week and two starts after it was serviced fully under gurantee.

Difficult. Probably my 1967 Volvo 122S.

Because old Volvos are probably the coolest cars in existence.

Best reliability with no mechanical or any other issues - 1994 Toyota Conquest 160i. Only problem was the number of people that wanted to buy the thing -even got pulled over by cops who wanted to buy. Eventually sold it after
180 000 kms.
Best fun, driving satisfaction, comfort and very few problems 1980 Alfetta 4 door executive. Worst car ever owned, BMW 318S 1994 - a real Friday car .
Currently Citroen - aargh; long story. Good car, lots of inherent niggles. And parts! Air France loves me by now.
