I have a Mychoice 75 contract that I use only for data with my Hauwei Data Card.

If I want to add a bundle what is the best option available? I get excellent HSDPA speeds where I live. Much better than Vodacom's HSDPA speeds.

Thanks for the info in advance.

Depends on what you use it for.
I dont download much, but I do a lot of research and online gaming.
I got the 500meg now for R250, plus the R75 My choice payment and R10 odd bits, which adds up to about R335 p.m, which is affordable.

The new promo for 2gig for R399 seems worthwhile if you donwload a lot, but read the terms and conditions first, one being that the data is not carried over from month to month (very sly in my opinion).

Remember, the more data you have, the more you need, I try to dicipline myself and not get more than I need.

Depends entirely on how much data you're planning to use I suppose, just remember whatever you don't use after 30 days you'll lose.

Isnt' there something where you can carry over your airtime to someone else number. Maybe to a Prepaid account?

Then you can transfer it to your Prepaid account and use it there.:D

I doubt there is such an option.
I hate fineprint, always some catch, I only found out about not being able to carry over data yesterday.

It's probably because mtn needs to control their monthly broadband network load. (and to make more money and rip off our hard-earned cash)

Vodacom Rip-off

Yesterday a month ago I bought a 1024MB data bundle through my cellphone to use for whenever I travel with my laptop. I've hardly used it and had about 950MB left of 1024MB and thought I can simply purchase another 500MB bundle and just make sure I use it more this month.. To my surprise Vodacom wouldnt let you purchase another bundle while you still have a bundle! Unfortunately I had to go work and couldnt abuse the last 950MB I had left and eventually my data bundle expired...

Is this how Vodacom make their money? This is a total rip-off and think one should be able to extend your window period by purchasing another bundle and add it to your excisting one.

Now I might think twice..or..three times before I buy my next bundle...

Strange..other day I heard Telkom has a lot of shares in Vodacom? That explains it all... Oh well..

Happy browsing!

2gb option is what i have loaded on a normal mychoice 75 contract - new one that i took out about 2 months ago , works nicely for me.
i had a 1gb bundle on a mychoice 75 topup contract which i use in a 6230i for voice and load up additional airtime as well , that contract has another 1 year to expiry.
