Hi Guys & Girls,

Does anyone know what's going on with the whole data must fall campaign, I've been putting off getting a new contract for close to a year hoping prices would change before I sign up for a new contract.

Should I still bide my time or am I waiting for a train that will never come ... lol

Well, I got a 30gb per month Vodacom contract for R329 (it was a special though).

I have various 10gb and 20gb per month contracts from Telkom ranging from R139 to R299 (the monthly specials).

So the issue is more if are you stuck on using one certain provider or not?

I see, currently I'm on prepaid so changing service providers wouldn't be that difficult. My only concern would be that Telkom Mobile reception seems to have a bad rep. What's your experiences with the network been thus far.

Highly depends on where you live.

My experience so far:
- works perfectly in Sandton
- works perfectly in CT
- works horribly in Pretoria and the countryside (except when your package allows you to roam to MTN).

Not sure for Durban.

Buy a prepaid SIM and test at your house.

I have the same issues with Cell C this said (works horribly in some parts of Sandton and Durban and Mpumalanga where I roam on Vodacom, works fantastically in CT, PE and EL).

I have all the coverage I need in all of Gauteng, better than Vodacom in some spots.

While I was in Amanzimtoti last year had no issues in the area. No TM signal while staying near Pennington in 2016. Just loaded an all network 3gb bundle for R199 so I could roam on MTN at h+ speeds.
