What is the most effective Ad blocker for Chrome or it finally lived up to its promise?

I have been using some adblocker extension for years and It worked so well on MyBB that I forgot that I had one installed until a few days ago when I realized that mybb is infested with ads and I realized the damn extension had stopped working. Any quick workaround solution to adblocking (excluding pihole ) or effective extensions.

The best is to switch browser. Google has been pushing hard to remove the ability to block ads with chromium based browsers and they are slowly wining.

AdBlock Plus have sold out some years ago. I think you can now subscribe or there are levels of protection on some kak. Dumped them for UBlock.
