In May, my current insurer decided to increase the first amount payable from R500 to R2500, since "the area you reside in is experiencing a higher than average loss".
The broker, who is retiring, recommended Old Mutual short-term insurance. There is a number to phone where someone will call you. I called this number on 18th June and 2nd July. No-one called back
On 16th July, I spoke to the OM call centre and was put through to a Mr Zimba, who was obviously reading from a flow-chart and spent 15 mins answering his questions. He would come back to me. No response
Called again on 31st July and 7th August. He, or someone else will call back. Nothing
Called on 13th August, asking to register a complaint. Was told to send it via email. An auto-response came immediately. Since then, no reply, no phone call
I have had numerous policies with OM over the years and found them efficient. Yesterday, called and said I wished to register a complaint. Was put on hold and after 15 mins, hung up
