What is wrong?

So it's been three months now since i have been using VC 3g card and mobile connection. The problem still persits, most of the time i get full signal on 3g then when i want to connect it gives me error 619 then i follow all the promts restart the computer etc take the sm out. once thats done i can connnect but then nothing wants to send or recieve?

I doubt that it's the hardware I think there is somthing wrong with the software that was written the software goes like crazy when i insert the card into my computer when showing the VC mobile menus. it show it picks the card up and then doesn't then signal the not then check position everytime and it's starting to get real anoying!!!

what can one do to solve this problem? firmware upgrade on the card or to get better connection software I don't know what to do anymore?!! the service consultents of VC has less know how of what i already" know of" ,meaning they are useless!!!

do you run the VMC dashboard s/w before inserting the data card? - I recommend that you ensure that VMC is not running when you insert the data card [only run VMC after Windoze has detected the inserted data card], also make sure that you close off the VMC s/w before asking permission from Windoze to remove the data card at any time when the machine is running...

Also, have you created a 3G-Only profile in VMC? - it sounds like you might be experiencing hectic switching between 3G & GPRS...

Stick with 3G-Only when in a 3G covered area, and GPRS-Only when you move out of 3G coverage.

IMO, only start VMC after Windoze has detected your 3G data card. Even after rebooting, wait until Windoze has detected the data card before starting VMC.

Hopefully that will solve this problem that you're seeing [if I correctly understand what you posted there]:

Perhaps you could take a screenshot when|if your VMC problem reappears - might help us better understand...
