Go here and calculate your Ecological Footprint:

Your Ecological Footprint is the biologically productive area required to provide everything you consume. The Ecological Footprint can be compared to bio-capacity, which is the productive area that exists on our planet, in your country, or your region.

If everyone lived like me we will need 3.6 earths or 6.1 gha.

1. What is your ecological footprint?

2. Is it possible to do something about it or should we just live our lives to the fullest as eventually there will be nothing left for future generations anyways?

I was definitely a lot worse, I don't buy red meat these days and I don't use transportation regularly

2.3 earths. They didn't ask me the most important question, which is whether I use contraception.

You are going to hell. :p

I guess your answer to question 2 is "lives to the fullest as eventually there will be nothing left for future generations anyways "

On a serious note. It is very difficult to live a sustainable lifestyle in our environments. Government couldn't care less about sustainable energy, nevermind the conditions of our public transport. Recycling in some towns is a massive failure.

That said. You should see the average score for america etc.

Would be interesting to know how much of this is based on actual science as opposed to a very specific interpretation or opinion of it.

Yep, zero fxxks given  I would do more if I could, we recycle as much as possible and use a minimal amount of electricity but environmental sustainability in South Africa is a tough task.
