Voted PC, it does it all right now for a premium.

Playstation is great for exclusives.
Xbox is great for those on a budget without a PC.
Nintendo is great for kids.
VR will be good in a few generations.
Mobile is big in the east but not so much here where good phones are so expensive.
Handhelds will be great in a few generations.

Steam Deck

Combines the low price of PC games with the ease of use of a console - games just work and you never need to fiddle (although you can if you want to). Plus its portable and about as powerful as a PS4.

Sure, PS5s and PCs are more powerful, but games look good enough already on a Steam Deck.

Still prefer PC, although mine runs on old valves still. Very antique, money a bit short and wife will kill me if I buy a new one. In case she changes her mind I would go for a laptop in the 25k range that can at least play some older games. Any recommendations and from where.

I love my Nintendo Switch. The Xbox is great for the everyday gaming sessions but the Switch exclusives are unmatched.

I mean that's exactly what a PS5 is, a PC motherboard, RAM , SSD running proprietary software.
