Hi All

So i am trying to find out what is the next best ISP to go for since AH is up to ******.

Capped vs Uncapped

Home vs Business

I have a WA Business Account but the day limit is a bit low but much better then the Home.

Anyone got any other advice with Vox, OpenWeb or Cybersmart packages.

Thanks

Depends on your usage, when you download and your line speed.

If you're on the 2Meg Business consider upgrading to the 4Meg, but using the 4Meg account on your 2Meg line.

Thanks but this was not the question.

Why you being obtuse?

In order to accurately point you in the right direction we would require further information pertaining to your usage habits and line speed.

I am not i asked a Question. It is not based on usage or speed it was a general question.

Who is ok and who gives crap. Who has bad FUP, who has good speeds etc...

Well from his response we can assume he has an infinite budget.

So we can recommend a nice fibre product for him:
https://www.webafrica.co.za/fibre/

Or in case he wants to stay on ADSL and wants the "BEST" account he can upgrade to PRO:
https://www.webafrica.co.za/business/adsl/pro/

I wish i had FTTH in my area i would have moved there long ago.

Thanks for this. So WebAfrica is the next best ISP to go for. I did not mean to be obscure but since i have a Business Uncapped account with AH i need something like it.

If it means Capped is the way to go then so be it.

SO let me be a bit more to the point:

Vox Home Uncapped
Vox FatPipe 25GB Lite + Uncapped Bolt-On
WebAfrica Business Capped
WebAfrica Business Uncapped
Cybersmart 100GB + Supersize Me

I do not want something that gets rate limited or get hold after 150GB you have your speed halved.

Thanks

Who has bad FUP

That depends on your usage. If you only use 140GBs then MWEB's standard uncapped uncapped FUB is great as it lets you get a cheap account.

If your usage is higher then MWEBs standard is bad. Then suddenly MWEB's Premium is a good FUB. If you need more than Premium then the premium FUB is bad. If you need more data then that then you need Business Pro or a small business account.

Remember that Web Africa's "Business" account is more like a Home Premium account. Their REAL Business account is the Pro account.

And you pay for it.

who has good speeds etc...

Also depends on what you use. If you only use Facebook then iBurst can give you good speeds.

If you don't stream Afrihost Business can have good speeds. If you Stream you need someone else.

If you just want an account that works on everything then you need to pay for it.

Here are a few options:
https://www.webafrica.co.za/business/adsl/pro/
http://www.mweb.co.za/small-busines...4mbps-uncapped-unshaped-unthrottled-adsl.aspx
https://www.voxtelecom.co.za/business-uncapped

The problem with the Afrihost Business accounts is that Afrihost sold them below cost. That's why they are having so many issues now.

Maybe consider a capped package then?

Thanks for the response to this. This is some good info. So for Capped (Overall Speeds Day & Night) who do you recommend?
