What Legal IPTV service is best? [No Illegal Services Allowed]

VPNs will generally slow down your internet connection, but NordVPN is better than others to the best of my knowledge. It's a bit expensive though. If you want a cheaper alternative, check out Windscribe.

Found IPVanish to be good as well, tho currently with Windscribe.

As for reducing buffering, if your ISP, is shaping streaming protocols or it bypasses a latency introducing link, between you and your services servers, then it may improve your experience. Otherwise it will just slow your transfer speed.

Your ISP will still know what your exit IP address is, but will not know what is being transfered via your VPN.

I'm with Vodacom, and I hardly ever deal with buffering. So, I guess they're not messing with my internet speed. But if they were, I'd seriously think about switching to a different ISP!

I have been using an IPTV service for quite some time now without using a VPN. I've never received any warnings or notices. I doubt they really care.

Care to share your IPTV provider

That's correct, although unlike a VPN, your ISP can see your unencrypted data.

Not that it really matters, in my opinion.
With steaming services, it’s the DNS queries the ISP can see. The stream is encrypted. DNS over HTTPS (DoH) can fix that.

Windscribe make quite a noise about being fast, although I suspect they don't always look after the free version's speed enough... but still not bad for basic use.
As far as privacy goes, possibly the best, they go to the nth degree to achieve it. Lots of articles about that on their website.

What they don't like with the free version is streaming, though they tolerate a degree of it. If it's downloading then seems to be no problem.

DNS control, yep, but these Windscribe characters tend to throw in lotsa other tools with all their creations.. if that's what you meant.

Your DNS is encrypted not the data you are transferring, but yes, they have good advertising and malware blocking as well
