What mix do you think my puppies are?

We adopted 2 puppies on the weekend. The shelter says that they are Daschaund cross Pug, but we don't see any pug characteristics in them. There might be a bit of staffie in there. What do you think?

The one on the left (when viewing the photo) has slightly puggish eyes. The folds on the forehead (do dogs have foreheads) too. Worshond don't usually have folds on head.

The mix (Daschund and Pug) sounds about right too. Not sure how a Staffie would fit into that equation. The mating would have been traumatic or funny, depending on which dog was the male. Anyway, they're a sweet set of pavement specials. The one of the right even has the trademark colour scheme of a special.

Where i work we have a Daschund and Boerboel mix, we call it Lang Laagte, i can't imagine its parents mating though.
