What now again MTN ???

I realy like my e220 modem on MTN . But damn it , If only they will keep their systems working.

I have been unable to view any websites or get my email .It started intermittently on Friday and by Sunday evening I couldn't get a thing.

All that happens is that my web browser sais : "looking up website.zzz" and then responds with server not found.

I am unable to resolve a single ip address.

I can also not get to my email servers.

I have resorted to using a VC sim card to get online and post this and check email.

but VC costs me R2/meg

anybody else have similar problems ?

And just after I posted this , I switched back to my MTN sim , and lo and behold it's working again.

Wish I knew ?

I phoned 173 this morning an they confirmed the gprs network was down for a while

No IP's resolving for at least an hour.

one word MTN ........

Reliability !!

Why do I have to pay for a data bundle on my MTN contract and then still keep a separate VC sim card with prepaid data bundle for when my contract service does not work.

come on MTN , that;s not on.

AFAIK if you use a Virgin sim for data you will only pay 50cent/MB. Gprs/edge.
