Should have bought the phones and compared reviewed them directly, people who are in the 500 Rand budget can't afford to make a mistake. Like u can't tell which one has a better display or sound from just reading off the specs

Well I can tell you one thing. You will constantly battle the "memory full" demon just to get some basic functionality from your phone (chrome, WhatsApp and Facebook). Pulling your hair out while loading anything due to 512MB ram most likely too.

Mother's cheap phone finally gave up the fight and told them if they buy anotner sub R700 phone I absolutely refuse to touch it ever again. She baulked at the price of my suggestion (some R2k Samsung) but is amazed at how everything just works now. Can't remember which phone though, just know it had 2 gig ram and 16/32 gig rom.

@gertvanjoe @Hanno Labuschagne
Gertvanjoe, I concur fully with your posting facts adding that generally banking apps stop functioning as well, due to RAM and Storage etc.

Mr Hanno Labuschagne, WHY do you not rather focus on reasons NOT to purchase these phones based on the specs,in turn doing the general consumer a favour by My Broadband showing all what it means to apply "Caveat Emptor" let the buyer beware.

My Hisense U40 lite worked great with 1gb ram.

If I worked in a high risk area where I only need to make calls and it got stolen it will not cost me much. Obviously a second for phone for that purposes.

Should be illegal to sell the Stylo 721. What modern apps will work on Android 3.0?
