Well, you're either fully involved with your NW or you're not.

I've spent way too many hours at accident scenes and helping others in my area., and often in rain or other poor visibility.

The rest of my car has some more gear too.

I have often wondered how some peoples car boots get into such a state. This is old and new cars. I buy and sell a lot so when people come to get something I usually get to see the boot which is either is a state and jam packed with junk and the spare tyre which has not been returned to its place. Some boots are like a tool box, some are storage with shoes, clothes sports equipment and some are just downright disgusting with dried out Mc D fries and old banana skins and a old foul smelling stain which I assume was yogurt or milk.
Even though my car is 22 years old, the boot is spotless and totally empty.
Mine has always been neat and tidy. Even my bakkie is neat tidy and clean. No junk everything in its place. So is the inside of our cars.

Tidy, clean and washed weekly.

The worst for me is ferrying friends/family's 4-6 yr old kids - and they get in and put their shoes on the seats! I want to just cringe to death and cry. I tried explaining to some of them that this is very expensive leather, and they should get in by putting one foot in on the floor, and the other follows as they sit. And they cannot eat, drink, nor drool around anything considered part of the car.

But its like talking to the trees.

Empty, apart from the Manufacturer first aid kit in the corner.

Under the floor I keep: tyre iron, tyre repair kit, jack, a multi tool, pocket knife, 12v compressor, jumper leads, a roll of toilet paper, black bag and 1.5L water.

You know there was a time in early 2020 when that toilet paper's value rivaled the total cost of everything in that car

Wife likes to keep extra shoes, jacket, sunglasses, earrings etc but not over board. It gets vacuumed every time i wash it because my cars do not go to the car wash.
In my one car, there is sound system which has p[retty much taken the whole boot but there is space for a small tool box with essentials items. I actually vacuumed the car this after car and noticed that i need to remove the carpets and clean it with some soap as it been a while. I call it the rescue car.

The other car is kept clean with minimal items in the boot.
