I vote for ZERO increase. Eskom jmsp.

followed by public hearings in Gauteng on 23 and 24 June

because just they are being affected by this increase...

so when they have recovered their billions will the price decrease or just influence how big the managers bonuses will be? fsuckers.

ZERO. Giving you more money for lunch for employees isn't going to solve anything.

Until such time as the organisation makes itself efficient, and stops buying fuel at excessive margins.. they can get fsckall increase.

Which means they won't be able to pay the fuel and will provide you with fsckall electricity.

It's the chicken and the egg and anyway the consumer will pay. Better pay now and avoid the worst.

No, fsck that... plain and simple...

I refuse to pay a premium so that some retarded dentist can make exorbitant profits and prop up Eskom's BEE ratings.

National emergency, BEE gets chucked the fsck out the window. Anything less is unacceptable.

**EDIT**

Should NERSA grant this increase to Eskom, I will be going out of my way to decrease my reliance on the grid. All my lighting WILL be taken completely off grid, and I will design the system so that as money permits I can hive more and more of it. Non-essentials such as Aircons and Geyser elements can stay on grid... everything else will be off eventually.

You're basically saying that because Eskom conducts its tenders in an unethical manner, and goes for the unreasonably priced fuel providers thanks to political connections, that we the public should pay more. No. What should be happening is an addressing of the corruption. If that were addressed the public wouldn't need to have as large an increase. Heck maybe an increase wouldn't be necessary at all.
