What to do about Sanral when selling a car

Hey all,

I've just sold my car privately and will be completing the change of ownership with the Department of Transport this week.

My question is, what happens with respect to Sanral and etolls in terms of ensuring that I don't continue to get charged? I don't have an etoll account.

In a perfect world the change of ownership done with the Department of Transport would update Sanral's systems accordingly but im guessing that is probably asking too much.

Does anyone know what needs to be done to ensure that the vehicle is off my name with Sanral (once again,...I don't have an etoll account).

Thanks.

Just make sure the change of ownership is done, thereafter ignore anything that comes from Sanral regarding the car, whatever you do don't make any contact with Sanral, unless you want to pay all the outstanding tolls you have on the car.
