Newbie member pissed off with sentech...
After reading lots of posts may I suggest (not necessarily in order):
1. Let's stop being techies - techies don't solve problems, managers do.
2. Let's start a user group - remember the ANC/unions etc in the early 90s?
3. Start a user group per tower
4. Find a smart lawyer (make cost some money)
5. Pay our fees into a trust account (check with lawyer)
6. Share any sentech email addresses we have
7. cc all our problems to said email addressees, let all sentech staff see how dissatisfied (if we are) with their company - nothing like affecting general staff morale, perception etc etc eg I have Dr S Matabane at 011 807 0988 and 011 807 2426) - dont't know if this is correct, maybe some ex (or current sentech staff member could confirm hint hint) but setting up winfx or the like to send faxes at scheduled times could also be effective...
8. Send complaints to associations to which sentech belongs (someone must have given the a license, they also belong to the National Association of Broadcasters), they also fall under Dept of Communications in govt therefore there is a minister in charge)
9. Demonstrate oustide sentech offices (make sure the press is there)
10. Block the entrance/exit to their offices/homes etc (make sure the press is there)
etc etc etc
We should learn from our political and american friends that PRESSURE GROUPS work!
If any of you agree with this, please reply to my email,
turner@thewebsurfer.co.za
because if we do this, let's not let sentech know, I'm sure they watch these forums too...
