Download speed with MTN USB modem in Johannesburg North has decreased to below that of my 2400kbps dial-up modem in the late 90's for the past few days. P

ing time 1121 ms, download speed 36 kbps, upload 11 kbps with mybroadband speedtest at 18h24.
An hour later, on speedtest.net, ping 355 ms. download at .08 mbps and upload .11 mbps.

On my MTN connection dash board it shows half the bars on Edge.

Gave up after 18 minutes to technical support centre.

When will the 21st century arrive here ?

MTN is on the edge of k@k.
They show at my house I can get LTE but most of the time I'm on Edge.

Try force 3G and see what it does.

Any why does it look like you are using a windows 2000 OS?

Also why FF?

Try putting the sim into an android and see if the signal is the same in tether.

have you called them and asked for technical, asked to have your connection reset?
