Had one bad batch of Verbatim DVD+RW DL though. Videos kept skipping at random points.

I buy 4.7GB DVDs from TVR computers here in CPT. Pack of 50 is around R100. I checked them out and they're made by Mitsubishi Corporation. Bought 100 Verbatim DVD+R discs on Saturday and turns out they're also Mitsubishi items. No hassles with either.

I'm keeping away from the 8.5GB stuff as TVR have now started selling something from Melody and they're crap. Cut a movie last night and my DVD player won't even pick it up, but PC does. Their previous 8.5GB items were pretty good for R90/10, but this new replacement is rubbish.

I'm going to order some Taiyo Yuden 4.7GB items in a month or so, pack of 100 for around R450 or something like that.

I think with the money I waste on DVDs I might as well go and buy a massive drive and build a proper HTPC.
