So you still have the username and password from your first ISP. Now, even though you cancelled months ago you find it still connects and you may have a free IS account. Do you use it and tell them to go to hell if they ever call you, or do you do the right thing and delete these details?
Keep in mind that when bandwidth disappears from your account, it damn near impossible to get it back.

This isn't the first time this has come up.

Remember that this going to cost your ISP, so I suppose it would come down to how you felt about them.

Personally I wouldn't use it simply because it would be dishonest.

If it had been a Telkomsa account of course that would be a different story.;)

well... now that u've announced it here, all isp's are gonna scrutinize your profile and all your myasdl posts, stalk and track u down... so rather don't use it :p

LOL

hell its not like its going to make a huge dent in their lives so milk it and then they will see a "dead" account being used and then shoot it again to make sure its dead.

Promise u will still be able to sleep at night. :)

Nice one :D a backup account muhaha, they should be on top of their buisness......... but they not............I wouldn't delete the details

Don't use it, and let them know... I wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that every byte downloaded was stolen from IS. Now, if it was teklom we were talking about... :)

Its your call - steal or don't steal.

If you use it then you will need to pay for what you have used. Whether the account was cancelled or not has no bearing.
IMO as the account was cancelled using it would be theft. There was no cause to be even testing the account.

Just cos you walk by a car and see the keys lying on the floor doesn't give you the right to hop in and take it for a spin no matter how stupid the owner of the car was.

Do the right thing - let em know and maybe they can recoup the losses on the now active account.

I would use it only to dl local stuff cause that doesn't cost them too much.

Listen carefully. It ain't gonna cost them it's gonna cost you. Unless they decide to write it off. Which they won't.

The rule is simple. You take, you pay.

They'd be more than entitled to compensation for whats been stolen - even basic legal fees are going to cost you more than its worth.

Ok, I called them and pointed out the mistake.
I'll test it again early March and if it's still active then it's meant to be :p
