Openview channel list — What you get for R1,499

Satellite TV service Openview offers a range of digital TV channels and radio stations at a once-off price that is cheaper than two months of DStv Premium.

When it comes to movies, TV shows, news, and sports entertainment, South Africans can choose from several TV broadcasting or online video streaming services.

Now do SABC

If you only want to pay the annual TV licence fee of R265, you can watch four free-to-air channels — SABC 1, SABC 2, S3 (formerly SABC 3)

:barefoot:

So SABC3 has been renamed, what on earth for and when did that happen?

Oh and what's this about paying an annual TVLicking fee?

Will the criminals that looted TVs be paying a fee to lick the TVs that they stole, have they ever paid any such fee in their entire lives?

The big turning point will come when analog broadcasts are turned off in your area, then it becomes an option instead of DTT set-top boxes.

Pro tip: buy the DStv decoder and installation from Builders Warehouse at 650, let them install. Throw away the DStv decoder and attach your new open view decoder, thus saving you R350
Pro tip:
Just instal the decoder on an existing dish: Cost R 449

New image, new logo, some new programs - pretty much the same BS "improvements" DSTV does from time-to-time. Keeps the marketing department happy that they actually do anything for a business.

LOL ok, I don't watch SABC nor do I watch DSTV.

I have just googled to see what this new logo looks like, I don't like it, something about the mismatched arc sizes in both the top and bottom halves of the S and the 3 make me want to barf, as for "OPEN UP" as a slogan, I already feel violated just at the suggestion of it.
