I used to have a disc camera - one day the Queen, Charles, and Di came to visit the school and it jammed just as Charles was planting a ceremonial tree - I binned the camera with zero regrets.

I do not think very much of it...

The Disc Camera was introduced in 1982, but soon lost its popularity among users. The color was terrible, the pictures were blurry and grainy. It was hard to tell when the picture actually was taken when the button was pressed. The Disc Cameras have not been sold since 1989 and this was a good thing. Probably should have never been sold. How many irreplaceable childhood photos were taken with this camera and became immediately lost forever in a blurry, grainy photo? Kodak offered an incentive to get customers to switch from the disc to the Advantix

There was a model camera we had at work with a stiffy drive built in.

Clunky and cumbersome.

Today's cameras are so much better with their Gigabytes of memory and lots of extra function than those first cameras.

Yup... I also had an obsolete collection of clunkers before the move... amazing to see the tech of yesteryear.

I actually had one of those stiffy drive sony cameras...

sell it boet, throw nothing away.

Too late! I tossed the lot before the move down... gave the rest away to some bloke looking for any old PC stuff. He had to make 2 trips for the rest of the stuff! Most of it still worked too... ;{
