Whatever happened to Vodacom's FTTH plans?

Vodacom laid fiber in our estate and less than 30% of the desperate uneducated residents took it up because of their insanely idiotic pricing model and business practices (such as locking the router).

They are busy cherry picking , so if you are not in an estate or large business complex or their fiber does not go past your front door , toffie for you .

Such for them, OpenServe and others will have much bigger networks and they'll have a hard time spreading into new areas and be stuck with their cherry picks.

Guess they will have to flash the cash to buy others then.
