Got to thinking about how some morning's I wake up and think to myself, "Feck! Not another day, have I not died in my sleep?"

I am 44 years old..... and life is good, some morning's I just feel groggy first thing in the morn.

When an old person in the age range of 80+ kick's the bucket, well it's not a trainsmash, they had a good innings!

When a person like my mother dies at 49, I think that's unfair, feckin' cancer is a bitch!

When my brother in law was killed in a car crash at 24, I get bitter, way before his time,

when 5 and 10 year old kids get cancer, (We have three in my small town at the moment, one being the brother of FirstbornMoose's best friend) , and they die, I get angry, what;s the fekkin' point!

At what age do you feel allright with people dying?

Right before I involuntarily start crapping my pants and have to wear a diaper.

And september is Childhood cancer awareness month, but it gets very little coverage. Few people realise that kids actually get cancer and fewer still know what the warning signs are to keep an I out for.

When you are a young man say 20, a 40 year old is a old person.
When you are 40, a 70 year old is a old person.
When you are 60, a 80 year old is a youngster.

From a 75 year youngster.
Life is sooo good !!!:p

When that person is no longer able to have a normalish life due to illness / injury etc and there is no cure or treatment that can help.
My grandmother lived well into her nineties but near the end was blind and sick so i would say she lived a year or so too long.

Luckily most men tend to just keel over at some point and its over none of that sitting around waiting to die stuff.

There can be only one. I can sense you. Better sleep with one eye open.

Health has a lot to do with it. I know people who are 60 who are in terrible shape and ill health, & then I've known people in their late 80's early 90's who have been in good health, laughing, telling jokes and still enjoying being alive. I don't wanna have organ failure and be ****ting myself every 2 hours. When my health starts to deteriorate to a point at which it ain't fun anymore - I'll take my leave :).

Depends on circumstances and quality of life. I know an 80 year old woman who still smokes and functions like any normal person and another who needs a nanny to look after them 24/7.

Only to watch all those around you whom you love die off every 70 years or so, FOREVER!

HO also reckons when we get into our 70's and start to become a burden, we will have to visit a volcano..... :wtf:

/Moose just realised that according to HO's calculations, he is no longer growing, but dying.....
