We used Isomil and than switched to lactogen, there was a soy alternative when they thought he was lactose intolerant, but it was a false alarm.
Oh then we used Nan, we went thru a few :( Isomil was the soy one.

Your going to be buying cloth diapers? Hope you have a large tank and a hazmat vacuum truck contract for disposal of bleach water

OK throwaway diapers, yeah plastic is bad for the planet mmkay, those ultra absorbant crystal probably too

You can't get away from killing the planet unless you feed him mashed potatoes and carrot you planted yourself, because the farmer goes through a tank of diesel on that piece of potato land just to begin with

Feed your baby the best you can...

Not always viable, hence why formula was invented, so babies didn't die from malnutrition or you had to find a wet nurse.

You never tasted that stuff right? Would be saying something different if you did :)

lol okes im playing, but in seriousness if OP or possibly rather his SO can breastfeed they should consider it, even if in conjunction.

also i did taste it way back when and given how babies feed at the time i didn;t think it was too kak xD

otherwise OP Nan or Similac

Breastfeed is best if mom and baby can make it work

We use Isomil as the little one has lactose allergies. Tried Nan nd another one but Isomil is yhe one weve used the longest, with no ill side effects

Best formula is S26 - the gold tin.

I used to sneak some from my sisters place and eat it as is....very tasty.

My grand mother produced so much milk when she had one of her children that she breast fed a set of premature twins as well as her own baby.

In those days they lived by the belief that breast is best .... hmmm, do wet nurses still exist?

They do. I used to frequent a gentlemans club where that particular fetish was catered for.

Yes they do, there are still people who think breast is best and will use the service of a wet nurse rather than formula.

When our little one was in ICU they started him on OptiPro and we just kept going with that, cause apparently if you change it, there is a chance of tummy irritation. So combo of that and boob.

Feed your little one every allergen you can find to prevent allergies later in life. Don't go with this hypo allergenic nonsense.

Ok maybe not just allergens but introduce things like peanuts etc.
